ASIAN RESISTANCE

Baltimore Asian Resistance in Solidarity (BARS) brings together Asians and Pacific Islanders of all backgrounds in Baltimore for learning, mutual support, and radical organizing. Founded after the 2015 Baltimore Uprising following the death of Freddy Gray, BARS advocates to dismantle oppressive systems at their core. BARS aims to work in solidarity with under-represented and marginalized communities and they amplify the voices of API people because all liberation is tied together.
