The Community Index is a data visualization and publication design for DataHaven, a nonprofit that collects, interprets, and shares public data to inspire effective decision-making — improving quality of life in local communities. We designed two identical reports for Fairfield County and Greater New Haven. Almost every page of the reports is supplemented with charts and maps interpreting data produced for over 100 partners throughout Connecticut and nearby states.
