The W.O.W. Project is a women, queer, and trans-led community non-profit initiative using art and activism to grow and protect NYC Chinatown’s creative culture in a time of rapid change. The redesigned website for The W.O.W. Project offers a digital space that honors the organization’s roots in NYC’s Chinatown while embracing its evolving, intergenerational mission. Built around principles of care and cultural preservation, the design features an editorial-inspired layout with spacious typography, tactile color tones, and intuitive navigation. Layered visuals, subtle motion, and archival imagery work together to create a storytelling experience that feels both grounded and dynamic—reflecting the spirit of community-led transformation at the heart of W.O.W.’s work.
