The Brooklyn Chapter of the American Institute of Architects (AIA), established in 1894, is the second-largest of the Institute’s five chapters in the New York City region. As a way to spotlight chapter member voices in the community, AIABK launched Pylon in 2012 as a monthly newsletter dedicated to the advancement of architecture, design, and urbanism. In honor of the 125th anniversary of the chapter, KUDOS was tasked with elevating the newsletter into a perfect-bound quarterly magazine to match AIABK’s modern brand refresh.
