Poster House is the first museum in the United States dedicated exclusively to posters, presenting a global view of posters from their earliest appearance in the late 1800s to their present-day use.

KUDOS created four permanent interactive exhibitions that will foster visitor engagement and learning on many sensory levels. Key to the project is the physical integration of the exhibits into the architecture that aligns with Poster House's aesthetics and messaging. Through a series of collaborative explorations, KUDOS first determined the intended visitor experience for each exhibit before crafting the right solutions by using a combination of physical and digital methods.

Digital Interactives
Elements around the museum were designed to bring visitors into a poster. Visitors can use the Photo Booth to physically place themselves into posters. The Poster Machine brings visitors into the poster creation process step-by-step. KUDOS created over 143,000 images that represent every possible path one can take in designing a poster! The Digital Poster Wall, an oversized 4K screen displaying posters from the Permanent Collection up close. Even the Restroom Graphics transport you into another world, histories of time that bring posters together.

Children’s Area
A 1960s-themed room filled with a coloring mural wall with 60s poster magnets, a CMYK layering station, and interactive vintage pay phones for kids! The layering station interactively breaks down the layers of three posters from the Permanent Collection through panels of cyan, magenta, yellow, and black.
