In 2022, Ford named Wieden+Kennedy as its lead global creative and brand strategy agency, and with that pushed a new age of social for Ford Motor Company across the company account, Mustang, and Bronco. Rather than sharing purely marketing-driven posts, Ford developed a more editorial point of view. With behind-the-scenes imagery, heritage vault throwbacks, and design-driven graphics, W+K took a bet on social engagement through nostalgia and brand strength.
Mustang focused on a sleek 3-post row design, with new themes launching weekly. Banking on the buying power of nostalgia, Bronco graphics focused on a retro and vintage look and feel to creatively advertise new product launches. The corporate parent of the bunch, Ford Motor Company’s social presence was used to share designed stats to celebrate the company’s impact and stories.
